Hi, I'm England

I'm a third-year Economics PhD student at the University of Washington. I am visiting the KU Leuven Development and IO groups for the 2024/25 academic year, hosted by Prof. Lore Vandewalle.

I have worked primarily on applications of economic theory and statistics in development - particularly in poverty alleviation - and am currently exploring firm/agent behaviour in developing contexts. My primary interests include market imperfections, economic history, social networks, and intrahousehold bargaining.

I earned my M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and my B.A. (Hons) in Financial Economics from the University of Indonesia.
